Staying Warm

coat: She Inside (last seen here) | sweater & pants: F21 | hat: Target | shoes: Dolce Vita  (similar) | faux fur stole: H&M (similar) | gloves: RL (similar)
I've lived in the Northeast my entire life, however, dressing for the cold and trying to look stylish in the colder months has always been a challenge.  Hate to admit this but for me, style comes first and warmth is secondary which is probably why I'm always cold! I like to think part of the problem is that I've always driven everywhere and my exposure to the elements are in very short durations but now that my daily commute to school is via public transportation, the long walks to the subway is slowly changing my priorities.  How do you guys combat the cold without sacrificing style?

  3. Keeping my head and feet warm seems to help a lot with the core, too. My two warmest items to that end is a Mad bomber hat and North Face Janey boots - not the most stylish, but not Uggs either...

  4. You look classy and put-together as always, Khatu! And I completely agree with you about the weather in the northeast! It can be 12* one day and 35* or 40* the next. It's hard to keep up!
