Not my real hair

dress: SheInside c/o (similar) | trench vest: F21 (similar, similar) | shoes: Pour La Victoire (buy, buy) | bag: Celine (similar) | lipcolor: mixture of Dior fanstatic plum (discontinued) & Cover Girl Spellbound | bracelets: David Yurman (7mm in onyx& pearl)

The last time I got a haircut was in April and it was also the last time I wore my hair down. I've been patiently waiting for it to grow back while hiding my horrible cut in what is now known as my signature low pontytail, snooki poof combo.  I've been tempted to cut it many times but I know I'll miss my long hair.  Currently, my hair is right below my shoulders but with a little help from my homemade clip-on extensions (made from real human hair, purchased from Sally Beauty Supply), it's long, luscious, and just the way I like it.

  2. Khatu - love the dress! I've never purchased from SheInside before. How do you like it and have you had to make returns before?

    1. Thank you! I'm not sure about their return policy as most of the items were gifted. However, I find that the quality are hit or miss and sizing is inconsistent.

  3. A bad haircut always takes sooo long to grow out. Although I love your low pony/snooki poof, it's nice to have options! Looking great as usual. Love this sleeveless vest!

  4. Those extensions look so natural! I want them... they would give my hair a much need volume boost, haha. And love that dress - the print is so fun!

    1. yes.... unfortunately. I asked for a trim and layers to remove the bulk from my previous blunt cut and the stylist went nuts. I actually didn't let him finish!

  8. We're always so fearless/adventurous with our hair up until we get a bad cut.. then it's just grow grow grow!

  9. Hey Khatu! Ive been a reader for a few years now and have THE HARDEST time believing your haircut could be that bad! Please, please style it down and post a picture! You are stunning and I have a feeling you are just being hard on yourself.... The poof is nice, but you are much too pretty for such a (please forgive me for saying this!) tacky style!! You are gorgeous!
