Paisley & full

dress: DIY (available for purchase here)(similar, similar) | bracelets: David Yurman (7mm in onyx& pearl) sunglasses: Betsey Johnson (similar by MbyMJ)

It's no secret that I have a weakness for maxi dresses.  I've accumulated quite a few over the years, but by far this one is my favorite. Constructed out of five and half yards of fabric, it was made for twirling and every girl needs a good twirly dress. :)

  1. Oh this is definitely my kind of dress. Maxi dresses are absolutely fun to make, but a pain to hem. I love the silhouette of this dress and the unique back!

  13. That's a great dress! I especially like the "security camera view" picture. :) The pattern reminds me of a tie I used to have...it was my lucky tie. Nothing ever went wrong when I was wearing it. I hope you have the same luck with the dress.

  18. KHATU.... HOLY BALLS.

This is the perfect dress. The pattern is ... HOLY. But that back detailing with the halter ties... I don't even know how to describe it. Gah, so perfect. I have no need of this dress (ie., nowhere nice enough to wear it), but I WANT IT. So beautiful.

    You got some skills, girl.

    Wonderful!
