  8. So YSL / Saint Laurent S/S 2013. I love the b/w look. It's mod and yet modern at the same time.

    Love.

    1. Thanks Mae! It was inspired by a Louis Vuitton dress.

  9. Hi Khatu,
I receive your updates daily. Although, you are petite like me, the dress does not work for you (nor am I particular about checks). Maybe if the checks were a smaller size, yes. Even wearing this dress with black or white leggings. From the photos, the pattern starts to overwhelm a little. The look is hard edged. I hope that's what you were going for.

    1. Tights, maybe but not leggings especially white! Awful. White tights/leggings are reserved for children & Halloween costumes.

    2. I appreciate your honesty, but I don't think leggings would work. Like the commenter above said, white would be too juvenile. Perhaps black tights for colder weather.

    3. Don't trust anyone that suggests WHITE leggings. Lol

    4. Khatu,

I love most of your DIYs, but this one comes across as looking a little haphazard. I think it might be the pockets and how the squares aren't aligned, but if that's the look you were going for, obviously ignore me!
