Lady in red

dress: Asos (old) (similar, similar) | shoes: Steve Madden | brooch: F21 | bracelet: Yurman

I wore this last night on my double date with Jean and her boyfriend, Nick. In fact, the last time I wore this dress was also with her while visiting NYC. It was that weekend that we both had our first pork bun experience at Ippudo. (If you haven't tasted this yummy deliciousness yet, you are missing out!) Ever since, we've been on the search for them here in Boston. After nearly a year, imagine our excitement when Nick told us about Uni's late night menu featuring pork (& duck) buns! Having dined at Clio before, I didn't bother to look up the reviews, as Uni is Clio's sister restaurant. Well, I am no food critic, but let's just say our experience left us disappointed and hungry. So close, but yet soooo far.

  8. love the red dress! I am a pork bun lover myself! A strong advocate of Momofuku's pork bun, but my last visit there, I tried Ippudo, and felt like I was cheating on Momofuku, but Ippudo's pork buns are definitely delicious, and haven't found anything like it in SF. maybe I'm just not looking, so it'll give me a reason to go back to NYC. :D

P.S. Momofuku in NYC also has amazing pork buns... if you want to try making them at home, here's a recipe online that I like to use: http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/views/Pork-Belly-Buns-240258

  23. I love my striped version of this dress. I really do. I just need to get it hemmed and taken in at the sides... which is super expensive with our tailor here in Honolulu... so I haven't worn mine since last year!

I love how you styled this one. It has a cute European vibe to it.
