A pop of color

top: F21 (old)(similar, similar, similar), skirt (similar in citron) & flower pin: DIY, shoes: SM Grettta, purse: Chanel, bracelet: Yurman, sunnies: Betsy Johnson

Just a few things:
1. Thanks to your suggestions from this post, I finally have the fraying under control. The secret? Hairspray! Who knew?!
2. This is what I wore to the Ann Taylor New Concept Store Opening Party at The Clarendon Hotel this past Thursday with Jean & Natalie. (Thanks Nat., for taking these photos!) While I know that not all are fans of this ginormous flower pin, I'll tell you, it was a hit at the party! This giant mess received more attention than I did! Quite the man repeller, but a total chic magnet! HA.
3. And please say hi to my new baby, Chanel jumbo flap in caviar! I debated between this and the Celine Phantom for weeks, but ultimately the Chanel won. Ideally, I would like to have both (who wouldn't?!), but this is more practical for my life and style. I absolutely love it!

  2. Girl, your sequin skirt is so much more amazing than that J.Crew number.. and I'm sure a fraction of the price. I wish I could find the time to make/sew more things for myself. Hopefully when the semester is over I'll find the time.

    Have a great weekend!

  11. I prefer the outfit without the big red bow. It's too overwhelming for your pettite frame.
