LA: Santa Monica Pier

dress: DIY (similar, similar, super cute in mint), jacket: A.Wang (similar), shoes: Tinely Road, bag: LV Speedy 30 w/ strap from Keepall 55, sunnies: Ray-Ban, cuffs: Asos, lipstick: CG Spellbound, hat: H&M (similar in tan & white)

For those that are curious, Darren is head-to-toe in J.Crew. (Sweater, Jeans & Shoes)

These are the last few photos from our trip. In the morning, Darren and I went to brunch and I wore this dress but I quickly changed into my DIY polka dotted dress to explore Santa Monica, Venice Beach, and Manhattan Beach. We strategically saved these three destinations for the very last day because it was conveniently closer to the airport and also to save time by avoiding rush hour traffic. From what I've heard, LA traffic is a nightmare. Even with a gazillion highways, there's just no way around it! I'm so used to the accessibility of Boston, living in LA would drive me nuts.

  16. we recently got married at one of the hotels on the beach in santa monica :) cute outfit! I live in the westside and generally don't deal with the traffic that people complain about. that was a good idea regarding how you planned your day. most people deal with traffic because they go to neighborhoods that aren't even close to each other, like samo to pasadena. glad the weather worked out for you while in LA! :)
