More from the weekend

H&M dress (last seen here)

As much as I love this dress, I wore it only once since you last saw it (here). The extreme tightness and inability breathe may have been reasons for the abandonment. Initially, I thought the tightness was from over eating, but when I wore it again, I realized it was not me! My friend, who also has this dress, said the same thing! This flawed design was probably done by a man, because seriously, why would a woman design a dress that doesn’t account for the chest area or breathing room?!

  5. Beautiful pictures!! I want that dress.....but that's to bad that it has a snug fit. It's sooo appropriate for this beach scene.....makes me want to go on a vacation. :)

  9. You look gorgeous in this dress! It drives me crazy when they are poorly designed like that - I always blame men too :)

  10. Dresses that are too tight in the chest are the WORST! But you look absolutely beautiful.

  12. So disappointing about that dress! I looked for it at H&M when it came out but couldn't find it. Guess that's a good thing given its poor design...

  17. The photo of you with the wind swept dress is stunning! I saw photos of the dress in an editorial and thought the pattern and colors are so lovely. What a shame that it's not well designed.

  18. LOL at the man comment. You mean a straight man. A gay man would know the difference, definitely :)

I wish this dress fit... because you look STUNNING in it.

I feel like every time I comment I give some sort of equally gushy comment. I can't help it!

  20. I totally know what you mean. After I bought this dress on eBay, I had to sell it because I couldn't breathe in it. It does look so pretty on you though. Darn them for the tightness.

  23. Of course it was made by a man... in a 3rd world country no less. Girls like me could never even squeeze into them with the UNTRUE to size H&M has. I tried on a size 6 the other week and I still felt constricted around the chest. I'm a size 2! Makes me angry.

However, despite the ill fit, you don't look constricted at all, and the breeziness of the dress makes for perfect wind and beach frolicking photos. These are very artfully done.
